Aurora Wellbeing Centre, Worksop is a cancer charity which provides a unique service to the people of Bassetlaw. We offer support, advice and practical workshops to anyone undergoing treatment for any type of cancer or living with a long term health condition.
We have support groups such as prostate, bereavement and cancer survivor groups as well as offering workshops in sleep management, nutrition and exercise programmes such as yoga, pilates and tai chi.
Our wellbeing practitioners can offer help and support, advice and practical workshops on financial or health issues, as well as hypnotherapy and holistic therapies.
Clients receive a bespoke care package that includes 6 free beauty treatments and/or holistic therapies, plus two free treatments for their carers, as well as the help of wellbeing, counselling and support groups.
We understand the needs of cancer patients and their families whilst going through this difficult time in their lives.
Additional Information
Aurora Wellbeing Centre is also a community hub available for everyone to access. Our yoga and pilates classes are available to members of the public.
We have a well-stocked Pre-loved Charity Shop and an excellent second hand book section.
We serve home cooked food daily in our art deco, Valerie’s Tearoom, which is available for private parties.
Aurora Wellbeing Centre is based in the Old Library building in Worksop and is open Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
