Your new best friend for going out & about and staying safe

Many pubs, restaurants and attractions are opening up again but, if you’re still wary about going out, there’s now something that might help you feel more confident in visiting them.
Visit England’s ‘We’re Good To Go’ new industry standard may just be your new best friend!
In the same way that the Food Hygiene ratings are my trusty guide whenever I’m eating out in unfamiliar territory, the new Visit England 'We’re Good To Go' mark is going to be just as important, if not more.
To be able to use the We’re Good To Go industry mark, a hospitality or tourism business has to complete a self-assessment to confirm that they have made all necessary changes to their businesses in line with Government and Public Health guidelines, including social distancing and staff training. They must have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and check they have the required processes in place to protect their customers and staff. If not good enough they won’t get their accreditation and there will even be random spot-checks to ensure businesses are adhering to the guidance.
As you can see from our image above, one of our superb North Notts attractions, The Harley Gallery on the Welbeck Estate, are proudly showing their We're Good To Go certificate and will be warmly and safely welcoming their visitors when they re-open on Saturday 1st August!

Look out for the We’re Good To Go mark on websites, social pages, emails, premises, etc.
