What's on this weekend in North Notts: 6th to 8th July
We hope you’re loving this amazing weather as much as we are – just the job for getting out and about and enjoying all the brilliant summer events going on across the North Notts region.
It’s not just the weather that’s hot - Summer Events too are hotting up now! This weekend take your pick from local Festivals & Parades and Fetes, Fairs, Galas & Fundays. There are different Exhibitions to enjoy, including Open Churches Weekend in north Nottinghamshire, as well as a number of History and Heritage events. If you’d rather venture out when it’s a bit cooler, then the Outdoor Cinema should appeal – especially as The Greatest Showman is being shown at Rufford Abbey Country Park this weekend!
If your preference is to get away from it all and cool down in the countryside, there's a beautiful country park or outdoor space close by wherever you are in North Notts – Thoresby Park, Clumber Park, Rufford Abbey Country Park, Sherwood Forest, Creswell Crags (see pic below), Kelham, Idle Valley, Daneshill Lakes, Langold Country Park, Walkeringham Nature Reserve, Dyscarr Wood, Chesterfield Canal, your local park, etc.
To check out all the hundreds of events we’ve got listed across North Notts for this weekend and beyond, just visit our comprehensive What’s On Events Guide - there's always something for everyone.
Huge thanks to:
Jon Rogers of Createinn Design for traditional dancers in Newark and funfair/roundabout photos
and
Di Fisher of The PhotoDen for the photo of swans at Creswell Crags.
