Wow! We’re Business Award Finalists!

We’re very proud and thrilled to reach the finals of the North Notts Ambassador of the Year Award at the North Notts Business Awards 2018.  Woohoo!

AIMS

The Ambassador of the year Award is sponsored by the North Notts BID Ltd which recognises “True promotion of the region and its achievements comes from within and from those firms going the extra mile to promote the North Notts region and its many attributes and its values.”

The Award is very special to us as its aim is to recognise those people with a “genuine passion and organic promotion for making North Notts a better place to live, work and to visit” and that’s exactly what In North Notts is about.

As an ‘incomer’ to North Nottinghamshire over 30 years ago I think it’s a wonderful place to live, work and also to visit and I want to share all the great things about our region – and there are LOTS! - with everyone.

Consequently I started ‘In North Notts’ as a central hub of information to make it easy for people to discover all the exciting things happening and available to enjoy, not just locally but right across the North Notts region.  In this way I’m hoping that local and regional Events & Activities will get the support and footfall/audiences they need to help them survive and flourish.  Achieve that and everyone wins.

We were extremely flattered to be nominated twice for this brand new part-vote and part-judged Ambassador of the Year Award, which was an achievement in itself.  Since then we have received enough votes to be in the top three businesses to go through to the finals.

We are thrilled to be finalists for this prestigious award and are looking forward to the awards ceremony in Worksop on Friday March 16^th.

NORTH NOTTS BUSINESS CONNECTIONS

North Notts Business Awards embraces all business sectors within the North Notts region and celebrates the exceptional businesses, organisations and people of the region.

Behind the Awards are local business champions, North Notts Business Connections (NNBC) who have been running the awards since 2011, increasing the number of awards available year on year – this year 14! and with the quality and number of entrants also significantly on the rise.

2018 just happens to be a special year for North Notts Business Connections as they celebrate 10 years of supporting the North Notts region with business networking, conferences, business shows and general business support.
